Oasisplay is seeking a passionate Senior Playworker to support our inclusive play services across multiple sites, including a nature garden, karting track, and two adventure playgrounds. Based in the heart of South London, we provide safe, creative, and inclusive spaces for children of all abilities to explore, grow, and build confidence.
As Senior Playworker, you’ll lead and support a vibrant team of playworkers, plan and facilitate engaging play sessions, ensure site safety and accessibility, and champion the rights of all children to play freely. You’ll work directly with children and families, including those with complex needs, and play a central role in delivering a meaningful, high-quality experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience working with disabled children and in play settings
- Can confidently manage a dynamic team and challenging behaviours
- Holds or is working toward a Playwork or childcare qualification
- Understands inclusive play principles and embraces equality and diversity
- Is organised, solution-focused, and thrives in fast-paced outdoor environments
Key Details:
- Hours: 17.75 hrs/week (Tue–Fri: 3–6.15pm, Sat: 10–5pm).
Holiday playschemes: Mon–Fri 10–5pm (up to 32.5 hrs/week). - Rate: £16/hr, plus pension contributions
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract: Permanent, subject to enhanced DBS check
- Location: Stockwell & Oval (multiple sites)
