Oasis Play update

Monday 8th March- Thursday 1st April 2021

Up until the Easter holidays we will be delivering a limited range of services across our three sites.

(Oasis Nature garden, Oasis Adventure Playground and Oasis Karting Project)

All services are permissible under the guidelines issued by Public Health England and Lambeth Council.

We will be delivering:

  • Respite play sessions for disabled children and young people
  • Support and activity sessions for vulnerable young people
  • Support and activity sessions for vulnerable children and those requiring childcare (as denoted in government guidelines)
  • Educational activities for school and groups

All sessions are pre-booked and accommodate a very limited and targeted group of children and young people that will be reviewed after the Easter holidays.

We hope to be able to run an Easter play scheme with restricted numbers. The plan is for this to be a mix of pre-booked Camel Club spaces and open access spaces. This will be reviewed nearer the time so that we are in line with government guidelines.

As funding bodies have been closing and donations get harder to secure, Oasis has found itself with a huge deficit this financial year. This means that unless we can raise the money to stay afloat until April 2025, we will need to close with immediate effect.

Please help us to keep Oasis going by donating to our Save Oasis Just Giving page. Other ways you can help:

1) Spread the word  | 2) Stick a poster in your front window – you are welcome to pop into any of the Oasis sites to collect some printed copies.

We feel confident that with the support of the community Oasisplay will survive the current situation. Please help by spreading the word and link to our fundraising page.
