Come and Play

Oasis is all about ‘play’. Freely chosen, intrinsically motivated, challenging and fun.

The teams of play workers help support and enable children to explore, learn and take acceptable risks through their play.

The possibilities for play are endless at Oasis, here is a small example of activities:

At the Nature Garden : den building, pond dipping, growing vegetables, playing hide and seek, making recycled paper , water fights, digging in the mud, finding frogs, making bread.

At the Adventure Playground: climbing, cycling, swinging, football, painting, making stuff, pedal karting, water and sand play.

At the Kart Track: driving, learning kart mechanics, pool, table football

KARTING TRACK

Welcome to our unique Karting Project. We have re-launched motorised karting activities along side our current pedal karting sessions to provide opportunities for older children and young people to operate within clear boundries, take measured risks, and develop self control.

ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND

Welcome to our exiting adventure playground. Here we have a mountain bike track through wild woods, a hard surface area for sports and ball games, adventure play structures and a cycle repair workshop where children and young people can learn bicycle maintenance and repair.

NATURE GARDEN

Welcome to Oasis Children's Nature Garden, one of the only wildlife gardens just for children. The garden was a derelict site until 1982 when the local community began working on the transformation of the this into it's now mature state.
