Dear Parents and Carers

We are sorry to inform you that Camel Club will not be running over the Summer School Holiday 2023. This is because we do not have the management capacity or play work staff to make the service work effectively and safely. Our priority has to be the open access play opportunities for local children and our Short Breaks service for disabled children which will open as normal from 10.30-4pm.

This has not been an easy decision to make. We are very sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.

If you require childcare for children aged 5yrs – 16yrs for extended hours, some spaces can be reserved for a moderate cost. As with after school club, free places are offered on a first come basis, on the day, until we reach capacity.

PLEASE NOTE: All children will start their day at the Adventure Playground. Younger children aged 5 – 7 years old will move to the Nature garden at 10.30a.m and stay there until 4p.m when they will be escorted back to the adventure Playground.

A child record form must be completed for every child attending the Camel Club. Please ensure that you download and complete a form and bring it with you on your child’s first day. Alternatively please ensure you have time to complete a form on arrival on the first morning.

Please note: Camel Club drop-off is from 8.30a.m and pick-up is up to 5:30p.m. Drop-offs before 10.30 and pick-ups after 4pm will be made from the Priory Grove entrance to the Adventure Playground.

Description

All children will start their day at the Adventure Playground. Younger children aged 5yrs old will move to the Nature garden at 10.30a.m and stay there until 4p.m when they will be escorted back to the adventure Playground.

Children will be offered breakfast between 8.30a.m and 10a.m and a light tea at 4.30p.m. All children need to bring a packed lunch.

The cost per day is £30. NO part days are available.
