Sometimes Oasis makes a difference in a small way, sometimes in a big way. It always makes me happy coming here.” Oasis user, aged 11

A unique opportunity to join one of London’s leading play organisations, shape new services and help us to build a more inclusive society.

If you enjoy working with disabled and non-disabled young people, have experience managing projects and want to work in a dynamic, happy setting this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Oasis Play is a friendly, vibrant children’s charity running innovative projects for 0-25 year olds in Stockwell, South East London. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Project Coordinator with a passion for inclusive practice to join our established team.

Oasis delivers inclusive play and educational activities to over 9500 people per year across our three sites, these include: A Nature Garden, a youth-led Go-Kart Track and an Adventure Playground.

This full time role will involve working across all three sites to maintain and develop our successful volunteering programme. We currently support approximately 80 young people each year to develop new skills and experiences through volunteering. The successful candidate will lead on the expansion of this project to include a new Supported Volunteer Programme, ensuring better access to volunteering opportunities for disabled young people aged 15-25 years.

A key responsibility of this position will also include working with the senior leadership team to strengthen and develop wider Oasis services. This is an exciting and varied management role. The right candidate will be an enthusiastic, organised, creative problem solver who believes that all young people have the right to succeed.

A recognised qualification in playwork, youth work, community development, occupational therapy or a related field would be an advantage.

Oasis Play is an inclusive employer and welcomes applications from disabled people. Please get in touch if you have any support or communication needs you would like to discuss with us.
